Bitter Babe (Colombia)

Bitter Babe is a multidisciplinary artist and DJ from Bogotá, Colombia. Her cutting-edge selection blends Latin-inspired percussive rhythms from dembow, raptor house, tribal, guaracha, reggaeton and Brazilian funk with bass-heavy, low-end groove club music. Now based in Miami, she has been a key player and part of a new generation of artists shaking up the city. Alongside artists like INVT, Coffintext, and collaborator Nick León with whom she has co-produced two EP’s, she is putting the new Miami sound on the international map. 

Her solo projects can already be found on avant-garde label SVBKVLT where she has collaborated on a remix for Rilla and on several forthcoming compilations. She also released a solo EP on TraTraTrax in 2023. Bitter Babe is also co-founder of LATITUDES, a multidisciplinary project focused on the unity and growth of the Latin American electronic music community. On Friday during the festival, she visits Kafé Hærverk in what is sure to be a night to remember! 

DJ Valencya is the co-head of the Oslo label Project90, and has the last five years been an active DJ and presenter of a wide variety of club sounds in the Norwegian capital. Guided by an explorative approach, the sets are never the same. Trippy DnB, progressive trance, dub-infused garage or flagrant hard house of the early 00’s can all be found in his sets, and direction is usually dictated by context.
