Club night at Internasjonalen.
After a day filled with discussions and talks at Internationalen in collaboration with NOPA, INN, Tankesmia Kraft, Jazznytt, Klassekampen, Music Norway and NKA, Oslo World invites everyone to a party which will last for the rest of the night. Three DJ’s - all close friends of Oslo World - will play in Internationalens first floor:
Dj Bacalao from the colombian carribean mixes new indie disco beats with vintage and alternative African rhythms like soukous, afro beat and champeta, Colombia’s African music heritage. You will get to hear vintage cumbia, classic salsa and Latin jazz in different languages. He explores the sounds of Haiti, afro and Brazilian funk and new sounds from Latin America and Africa - engaging sounds from both sides of the Atlantic Ocean.
Einar Idsøe Eidsvåg has become a jack of all trades in Oslos cultural scene and night life. He is co-owner of BLÅ, where he previously has worked as the booker. He has also worked for Oslo World and as responsible for the club programming at Revolver. He has been involved in music since he was born, and today he works for Music Norway as an advisor in the field of contemporary art music. In addition to all this, Einar has dabbled as a DJ for 20 years. His mixing skills may not be all that impressive, but his taste and drive is impeccable. You can expect music without boundaries this friday.
Yours Truly - known to many in the Oslo night life as KUUK-Ragna - will finally return to Internationalen. She will finish the friday night off with a mix between hip hop, dancehall and reggaeton, with obligatory dance offs, screams, general rowdy behaviour and lots of, lots of love. Ragna has spent the last couple of years in Copenhagen and Oslos dance floors have missed her. This will be an intense reunion!
