The House-music legend is back for an Oslo World exclusive at Frædag with g-HA & Olanskii and Øyvind Morken. The sounds of the world echo the streets of Oslo once more as Oslo World returns on Jaeger’s calendar. For one week in the year, it means we can shine a light to the sounds that converge on the intersections of disparate cultures. Jaeger, once again plays its role in Oslo World, as the club stage for the city wide event with legendary House DJ and producer Kenny Dope.

Kenny “DOPE” Gonzalez is one of the most prolific artists of the modern music age. The four time Grammy nominated musical genius has been entertaining and astounding the masses alike with his fusions of house, hip-hop, Latin, jazz, funk & soul, reggae, alternative pop and broken beats for 20 years.

Known for his solo work and his collaborative work alongside another House music legend, Louis Vega as Masters at Work, Kenny Dope has been such a prevalent touchstone for new music producers, that his style has almost become cliché. He consistently shows his distinctive ability for programming superior beats while blending a myriad of music styles to deliver the ultimate MIX. The last 3 decades Kenny Dope has had his hands full releasing literally thousands of tracks, remixing hundreds of singles, and globetrotting to DJ all over the world.

Daniel Gude

Daniel Gude is an ardent collector of music. From the obscure and rare to the more accessible and even popular, Daniel Gude has amassed a collection of records that spill over into the tens of thousands and loves nothing more than to share it with a packed dance floor. Through his DJ and event collectives Kids Love Bass and Kids Love Wax, he’s built a following in Oslo for those intrepid musical souls. As a resident at Jæger he continues to educate and entertain audiences with his extensive knowledge of music.
