We express our deep sympathy with the Lebanese people and strongly condemn the attacks from Israel, which target civilians and civilian infrastructure.
The Lebanese people have been severely affected by war and occupation, refugee crises, and economic collapse, and are once again victims of extremely brutal attacks from Israel.
Since 2012, Oslo World has had a close relationship with Lebanon's cultural life. This has led to great musical experiences in Oslo and Beirut, countless projects, and above all, lasting friendships. Many of our friends and colleagues, their children and families are terrified right now. Daily, we hear about people who have lost their loved ones.
This senseless brutality must end. The international community must react. We demand that the parties be pressed for a ceasefire and that the war stops immediately.
